I AM A CANCER SURVIVOR.
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer (Papillary Carcinoma) in 1997. I had surgery to remove the right lobe of my thyroid followed by radiation therapy. In 1998, I was again diagnosed with a different more dangerous thyroid cancer (Follicular Carcinoma) and repeated the surgery to remove the left lobe of my thyroid followed again by radiation therapy. After my second surgery my husband, Vic and I took a trip to Rio Caliente in Mexico to rest, relax and detoxify. While in Mexico I met a woman from California, who shared her Bio-Mat with me and told me of its healing properties. She too was a cancer survivor and had been given little hope by Western doctors for recovery. She said the Bio-Mat healed her by detoxifying her body and creating a healthy alkaline blood stream. She also explained how the deep penetrating Far Infrared Rays of the Bio-Mat raised her body temperature above 104 degrees, a temperature too hot for cancer to live. She explained how the Bio-Mat is filled with the healing crystal Amethyst that creates Negative Ions (extremely clean air usually found near waterfalls and dense forests) oxygenating your system. I went home and researched intensely to educate myself on these healing principles. I bought the Bio-Mat and never looked back. I have used and loved my mat for many years. In February 2003 my dear friend Kris Carr (http://crazysexylife.com) was diagnosed with 24 inoperable, untreatable stage four tumors in her lungs and liver. I had been a friend and mentor to Kris since her days as an actress and mine as a talent agent, many years before. At the time, I was the first cancer survivor in Kris's life so when she asked me to be a contributing author to her advice-from-the-trenches-cancer-survival guidebook, CRAZY SEXY CANCER TIPS, I was thrilled. Since Kris had no treatment options in traditional treatmentland she became a "healing junkie". In her search for healing or as she called it "Save My Ass Technologies Inc", she discovered the healing and effective properties of Far Infrared Rays and Negative Ions combined to promote a healthy alkaline blood stream aiding in detoxification for staying healthy and alive.
